Clinical Journey and Experience

Practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2009, our founder began in inpatient internal medicine, then served in correctional healthcare before advancing into specialized addiction recovery work in methadone clinic settings.

Why UrgentRecovery Was Created

UrgentRecovery grew from a belief that adults deserve affordable, stigma-free care. A flat, transparent $75 visit rate supports uninsured or cost-conscious patients who need private, respectful telehealth access.

How Our Practice Works

We operate entirely online as a cash-based, by-appointment practice, licensed for independent Physician Assistant care in Oklahoma, with 24/7 availability spanning urgent needs, psychiatric support, and addiction treatment.

Founding Physician Assistant Profile

Our clinician serves as the sole provider at UrgentRecovery, bringing nearly 20 years of direct patient care experience to every telehealth visit. Practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2009, our founder holds full independent practice authority in Oklahoma and provides care across urgent, psychiatric, and addiction needs. Early work in inpatient internal medicine created a strong foundation for managing complex medical conditions. Subsequent years in correctional healthcare deepened skills in trauma-informed, stigma-free care. Most recently, leading addiction recovery services in methadone clinic settings refined expertise in alcohol and opiate use disorders. This breadth of training supports careful, steady guidance for adults seeking safe, affordable care.

Credentials and Recognition

Our founder maintains an active Oklahoma Physician Assistant license with full independent practice status and full prescribing authority for non-controlled medications. Clinical decisions reflect many years of managing urgent medical issues, behavioral health conditions, and substance use disorders in high-acuity settings. In 2020, while serving patients within a detention center, our clinician received a Compassionate Care award, underscoring consistent respect for patient dignity under difficult circumstances. These credentials and experiences guide every telehealth encounter, so adults can receive private, practical care that honors their time, financial realities, and recovery goals.
